One of the things we’ve observed while building Sailing.mu is how much maritime knowledge already exists in Mauritius. It isn’t hidden because people don’t care. It’s hidden because it’s spread across hundreds of independent businesses, clubs, organisations and community pages. Every time we discover another sailing school, marina, workshop or instructor, the picture becomes a little clearer. The maritime community isn’t small. It’s simply fragmented.

Knowledge moves through communities. A beginner might start with a quiz. A sailor may discover a new marina. A boat owner may need a marine mechanic. A visitor may be looking for a charter. Every journey begins with a question.
