About

The school began with a passion for kitesurfing and a commitment to sharing that experience with others. Over the years, many students have progressed from complete beginners to confident, independent riders.

The aim is to make kitesurfing accessible to anyone willing to learn. Age, weight, or previous experience are not limitations — with the right guidance and mindset, steady progress is achievable.

Instruction & Experience

Lessons are led by Evans, an IKO-certified instructor since 2013. His experience and structured teaching approach focus on:

  • Understanding wind and safety fundamentals

  • Equipment handling and control

  • Board starts and riding technique

  • Building confidence toward independent riding

The school operates with modern kitesurfing equipment to support safety and progression.

10 Things to Expect During a Kitesurfing Lesson

  1. Safety Briefing First
Every lesson begins with an introduction to safety procedures, wind awareness, and equipment handling.

  2. Understanding the Wind
You’ll learn how to assess wind direction and strength, and how it affects kite control.

  3. Equipment Introduction
The instructor will explain the kite, control bar, harness, safety systems, and board.

  4. Setting Up the Kite
Students are typically shown how to correctly set up and check equipment before launching.

  5. Basic Kite Control on Land
Initial practice usually starts on the beach, learning how to steer and control the kite safely.

  6. Launching and Landing Techniques
You’ll learn how to launch and land the kite with assistance, an essential safety skill.

  7. Body Dragging in the Water
Before using a board, most lessons include controlled body dragging to understand power and movement.

  8. Board Introduction
Once basic control is established, you’ll be introduced to board positioning and water starts.

  9. Gradual Progression
Progress depends on wind conditions and individual comfort. Lessons are structured step-by-step.

  10. Debrief and Next Steps
Most sessions end with a short review, identifying progress made and what to focus on next.
