Sailing.mu Payment & Refund Policy for Boat School and Collaborators

Sailing.mu ensures secure and compliant transaction processing. By enrolling in courses or engaging in services offered through our network, students and collaborators agree to the following terms and conditions regarding payments, cancellations, and refunds.


Pricing & Payment Policy

  • All course fees and service charges are listed on the respective websites, including www.boatschool.mu, and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Payments are securely processed through Sailing.mu’s payment gateway, adhering to industry security standards.
  • While online payments are the standard, exceptional cases may allow for manual deposits or alternative payment methods if no other option is available to onboard a student or process a collaborator’s transaction.
  • Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, course fees must be paid in full before the start of any training session.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, Juice, and bank transfer.

Refund & Rescheduling Policy

Applicable for anyone enrolling in a course with Boat School Center, the client acknowledges and agrees to the
following terms:

  1. Full Refund Eligibility
    A full refund will be granted only if the client has not commenced any part of the
    course and has not received any course material, whether in physical or digital
    format. Once course materials have been issued or accessed, the client is no longer
    eligible for a full refund, even if they have not attended any sessions.
  2. Non-Refundable Components
    Once any component of the course (theory or practical) has commenced, including,
    but not limited to, attendance at sessions, access to learning materials, or use of
    training facilities — no refund will be provided for that component under any circumstances
  3. Rescheduling
    Clients who are unable to complete the course may request to reschedule and attend
    a future session of the same course, subject to availability. This request must be
    made in writing at least five (5) working days prior to the scheduled session.
    Rescheduled sessions must be attended within nine (9) months from the original
    start date. After this period, rescheduling privileges will lapse.
  4. Exceptional Circumstances
    In cases of illness, emergencies, or other exceptional situations, the school may, at its
    sole discretion, consider a partial refund for course elements not yet started or for
    which no materials have been issued. All requests must be submitted in writing
    and supported with relevant documentation (e.g., a medical certificate).
  5. Force Majeure
    In the event that training is delayed, disrupted, or cancelled due to circumstances
    beyond the school’s control — including but not limited to natural disasters,
    government restrictions, or other force majeure events — no refunds will be issued.
    However, affected clients will be permitted to attend a rescheduled class at a future
    date that suits their availability, subject to availability and within the same course
    cycle.

By confirming a lesson, or booking, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the
above refund and rescheduling policy.

For Sailing.mu E-Commerce Transactions

Order Cancellations

  • Customers may cancel their order before shipping confirmation for a full refund.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.
  • applicable to e-book and virtual products

Returns & Refunds

  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: Customers must report any issues within 48 hours of delivery via email at info@sailing.mu. A replacement or refund will be issued upon verification.
  • Non-Refundable Items: Digital products, downloadable materials, and perishable goods cannot be returned or refunded.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed exclusively through Sailing.mu and returned via the original payment method.
  • Refunds may take 7 to 14 business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider.
  • Sailing.mu is not responsible for additional costs incurred by students or collaborators, such as travel, accommodation, or personal expenses.
