Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Sailing.mu.

1. Platform Role

Sailing.mu operates as a digital platform providing:

Sailing.mu acts as a platform and does not assume responsibility for independent third-party providers listed on the site.

2. Payments

  • All prices are listed in MUR unless stated otherwise.

  • Full payment is required before delivery, activation, or confirmation.

  • Payments are processed through approved third-party gateways.

  • Sailing.mu does not store card details.

Prices may change without prior notice.

3. Physical Products

  • Orders may be cancelled before shipping confirmation.

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.

  • Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

4. Digital Products & Online Access

Digital products, including downloadable materials and online tools:

  • Are non-refundable once access has been granted.

  • Are licensed for personal use unless otherwise stated.

  • May be updated or modified over time.

Technical access issues will be reasonably supported.

5. Services & Bookings

  • Payment is required before confirmation unless agreed otherwise.

  • Refunds may only be considered if the service has not commenced.

  • Once a service has started or materials have been provided, it is non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling is subject to notice and availability.

Approval remains at the discretion of Sailing.mu or the relevant provider.

6. Directory Listings & Third-Party Services

The directory is provided for informational purposes only.

Listings represent independent professionals, schools, organisations, and service providers. Sailing.mu:

  • Does not operate, supervise, or endorse listed services

  • Does not act as agent or intermediary

  • Does not guarantee quality, safety, pricing, or availability

Users engage with third-party providers at their own discretion.

Sailing.mu is not liable for:

  • Accuracy of third-party information

  • Pricing or scheduling changes

  • Disputes between users and providers

  • Injury, loss, or damages arising from third-party services

Listings may be created from publicly available information and may not be actively maintained by the provider.

Sailing.mu reserves the right to add, modify, suspend, or remove listings at its discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content, structure, design, and functionality of the Service remain the exclusive property of Sailing.mu and its licensors.

Unauthorised reproduction, duplication, or redistribution is prohibited.

8. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to external websites.

Sailing.mu has no control over and assumes no responsibility for third-party content, policies, or practices. Users are advised to review the terms of external websites.

9. Termination

Sailing.mu may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time without prior notice if these Terms are breached.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and governing law survive termination.

Sailing.mu makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Sailing.mu shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the Service.

12. Force Majeure

Sailing.mu is not liable for delays or failure resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including government restrictions, technical failures, natural events, or payment processor interruptions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and Sailing.mu.

14. Changes

Sailing.mu reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
